WRITING FOR AUDIENCES

When it comes to writing for an audience, it is very important that the message is clear and directly targets the audience. Having the focus of your audience is important in order to get your message across. While writing to an audience, the writer should keep in mind who they are writing to because as a person we all have our way of communicating with each other. For example, among friends, we use a lot of slang while communicating but if we were to write to our grandparents it would be confusing and misleading, also we wouldn’t use the same language outside of the friend circle because then it would be unprofessional, especially in school and work. Writers should also keep in mind that they shouldn’t include anything offensive in their writings because then they would lose the interest of the reader right away.
